DURAFIDE PPS Polyplastics 6165A4 is a polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) product, available in stock in original packaging.
Japan Polyplastics DURAFIDE 6165A4 processing method:
Injection molding: A general-purpose injection molding machine can be used, and the melt index of glass fiber reinforced PPS is preferably 50. The process conditions of injection molding are: cylinder temperature, pure PPS is 280~330°C, 40% GFPPS is 300-350°C; nozzle temperature, pure PPS is 305°C, 40% GFPPS is 330°C; mold temperature is 120-180°C; Injection pressure, 50-130 MPA.
Extrusion: Vented extruder is adopted, and the process is as follows: the temperature of the feeding section is less than 200°C;
Compression molding: suitable for large products, using two compressions, cooling first, and then hot pressing. The preheating temperature of hot pressing is about 360°C for 15 minutes for pure PPS, and about 380°C for 20 minutes for GFPPS; the molding pressure is 10~30Mpa, and it is cooled to 150°C for demoulding.
Spray molding: Suspension spraying method and suspension spraying and dry powder thermal spraying mixing method are adopted. PPS is sprayed on the metal surface, and then the coating is obtained by plasticizing and quenching treatment; the coating treatment temperature of PPS is 300 ℃ Above, keep warm for 30min.
Polyplastics DURAFIDE 6165A4 Features:
The mechanical strength is particularly high, especially its bending strength value is very high, and it has excellent elastic recovery characteristics.
Has high toughness, compressive properties and shear properties values.
It still has excellent creep resistance under high temperature and high load, and it also shows excellent fatigue resistance for cyclic stress.
High elongation and impact strength, greatly improved the brittleness of the previous PPS resin, which was considered a disadvantage.
Can withstand 260 ℃, 10 seconds of immersion in the electric soldering bath, enough to meet the requirements of the surface assembly technology of electronic components.
There are very few ionic impurities, and it may also be used in fields with very strict requirements on electrical properties.
The volume resistivity changes very little under high humidity and high temperature conditions, and the dielectric constant hardly changes with the cycle number and temperature. It has very good properties as an electrical insulating material.
The fusion strength is high, and the secondary processing characteristics such as tapping and pressing are excellent.
PPS was first industrialized by the American Phillips Company in 1971. After the patent expired, Japanese companies also began to develop and produce it. The world’s top five PPS manufacturers are Phillips, Toray, Ticona, Polyplastics and Nippon Dai Ink.
Polyplastics DURAFIDE 6165A4 Applications:
When using nylon (PA), polyoxymethylene (POM), polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polysulfone (PSU) in various fields of the machinery industry, there are defects that cannot meet the technical requirements, while using poly Imide (PI), polyetheretherketone (PEEK) and polyamide-imide (PAI) are too expensive, so choosing to use PPS should be an ideal engineering plastic.
