GENERAL INFORMATION
DESCRIPTION
STRONG CHEMICAL RESISTANCE PLUS CLARITY XYLEX resins are a transparent blend of polycarbonate (PC) and an amorphous polyester. Compared to PC, the polyester in XYLEX resin provides enhanced chemical resistance against certain fluids, enhancing the resin’s stress crack resistance. It also permits lower processing temperatures than straight PC.

EUROPEASIA

X7509HP
PC+Polyester alloy. Houseware applications. USA/Europe Food contact. this grade will no longer be supported with biocompatibility information and should not be used for medical applications which require biocompatibility. Alternative grade HX7509HP.

X7519HP
Good Chemical Resistance, XYLEX grade with good dishwasher performance, USA/Europe Food Contact Comment: While molding of thicker parts, cooling speed has an influence of transparency. Thicker parts may form opaque areas in the centre due to slow cooling.
