Higher heat resistance of PPA
Amodel PPA is used to replace metals in high temperature automotive applications. The continuous use temperature range is 120°C to 185°C (248°F to 365°F). Heat deflection temperature (HDT) up to 310°C (590°F).
The highly aromatic ring structure of Amodel PPA provides resistance to a wider range of chemicals than standard aliphatic polyamides, even at elevated temperatures. This allows automotive, electrical and industrial components to be exposed to harsh chemicals for long periods of time:

Polyterephthalamide (PPA) outperforms standard polyamides, with higher strength and stiffness at elevated temperatures, better retention in wet environments, and resistance to a wider range of chemicals Greater resistance.
With a heat deflection temperature of 280°C (536°F) and continuous use up to 210°C (410°F), AmodelPPA (polyphthalamide) can also absorb heat requirements in out-of-the-hood applications Regular nylon and polyester.
