Product description:
Material with high melt strength, -stiffness and high stretchability for producing extrusion blow-molded hollow objects.
General performance of BASF POM Ultraform N 2640 Z6:
1. Smooth, shiny hard and dense material, light yellow or white, and the thin-walled part is translucent.
2. White powder, generally opaque, good colorability, specific gravity 1.41-1.43 g/cm3, molding shrinkage rate 1.2-3.0%, molding temperature 170-200°C, drying condition 80-90°C for 2 hours.
The long-term heat resistance of POM is not high, but it can reach 160°C in the short term. The short-term heat resistance of homopolymerized POM is more than 10°C higher than that of copolymerized POM, but the long-term heat resistance of copolymerized POM is about 10°C higher than that of homopolymerized POM.
Mechanical properties of BASF POM Ultraform N 2640 Z6:
1. High strength and rigidity, good elasticity, good wear resistance and wear resistance.
2. Its mechanical properties are excellent, the specific strength can reach 50.5MPa, and the specific stiffness can reach 2650MPa, which is very close to metal.
3. The creep property is similar to that of PA, only 2.3% at 20°C, 21MPa, and 3000h, and it is slightly affected by temperature.
4. The friction coefficient is small, the wear resistance is good (POM>PA66>PA6>ABS>HPVC>PS>PC), the limit PV value is very large, and the self-lubricating property is good.
Electrical properties of BASF POM Ultraform N 2640 Z6:
1. Good electrical insulation, hardly affected by temperature and humidity;
2. The dielectric constant and dielectric loss change little in a wide range of temperature, humidity and frequency; the arc resistance is excellent and can be maintained at high temperature.
Environmental performance of BASF POM Ultraform N 2640 Z6:
1. Not resistant to strengthAnd oxidants, it has certain stability to alkenoic acid and weak acid.
2. Good solvent resistance, resistant to hydrocarbons, alcohols, aldehydes, ethers, gasoline, lubricating oil and weak alkali, etc., and can maintain considerable chemical stability at high temperatures.
3. Small water absorption, good dimensional stability.
