SOLVAY Ryton PPS R-7-220BL is a black polyphenylene sulfide raw material with glass fiber and mineral filling, characterized by high hydrolytic stability, creep resistance, high modulus and good dimensional stability , the material advantages are precision molding, flame retardant, good electrical properties, thermosetting resin substitute materials, thermal shock resistance, used in alternator components, motor brush holders, busbars, connectors, housings, ignition components, lead frames, motor components , resolvers, sensors, switches.

During the molding process of Solvay Ryton PPS R-7-220BL, when the melt flows to the front end and gathers together in reverse, a weld line will be formed. Weld line strength is closely related to molding conditions, so part and tool design should allow for fast injection, fluid front temperature, and thorough coating. The phenomenon of air inclusion is very detrimental to the strength of the weld line. Therefore, care should be taken to avoid backflow when designing the mold, and to ensure that the area where the weld line may be formed is fully exhausted.
